Aw common Mr Eagle - morning after a derby and a good win to boot !!

Its anologous to a lovely crisp chardonnay to complement a fresh salad at the queens !!

Damn those umpires!!! They should definately favour Freo in all matches! Any fair umpiring will not be tolerated!!! It MUST be biased!

Best bit of humor I've read in a while, is the match report over at Dockerland. I'm assuming it's meant to be TIC otherwise they would have a serious inferiority complex

Nothing like a bit of wrist slashing to cure what ails you :D
I have to admit, one of the highlights of Derby week for me is reading the Before/After versions of dockerland. Ah, its sweet.

On the umpires, I watched the tape this morning (the first of many, many replays, especially when my docker supporting brother is around the house) and the umpiring was really unbelievably ****ty all day. There were about 5-6 decisions which were just plain wrong, and about 5 times as many dubious ones.
Lowlights were Judd getting away with a blatant holding the ball- took off, was swung around twice and put the ball on the ground, and Kerr being picked up and tackled around his neck by Pavlich around a metre from a man in white.
The single stupidest piece of umpiring was when Carr cleaned up Jones whilst he was taking a free kick. Obvious, blatant 50- either it was deliberate or he *really* should have been paying attention to where he was running.
So imo, yes the umpiring was downright appalling, but since it was consistently and universally appalling, both teams got their fair share of rapings. I don't think we, or the dockers got a particularly raw deal-

Dockers supporters should look from within. If Trent had smashed a few early, surely they would have won. They can only blame themselves.
