    lol. Noticed that too.

Also noticed McKay himself saying he's looking forward to updating us again next year. Word around the traps is/was he's in for Lethlean's Footy Manager job at the Affal. Still has admirers in AFL House apparently.

McKay said in the injury report that it's an ankle injury and not as bad as first thought. Don't think there was any mention of his knee and pretty sure he said he'd be right for preseason.

Nice one Harks we often forget about the injured players post season ... great to see they will be right from day 1 to build their tanks back up!

I understand that some can be quite dismissive of Phillips, but I don't think we've seen the best of him yet.
I'm glad he's up and running, almost as much as I am for Marchbank & McKay

No mention of Weitering. I thought he may have gone in for some treatment.

What A. Sylvagni and Rowe bring to the side is the ability to try blokes like Marchbank/Plowman/Williamson further downfield and get some 'swing man' type experience into them - an ambition which Bolton has repeatedly stated is a key objective of the Club over the coming years- having players able to slot into different positions as required. Weitering wont be the only bloke asked to play forward and Simpson wont be the only 'back' asked to play wing or even midfield.

I was particularly sorry to see Polson pretty much robbed of a half a year's development -he looks like a player to me.

Pre-Season training starts in November. After the trade / FA period but before the draft. Good on the club for the Press Release. In case you missed it:

KEY BLUES Patrick Cripps, Ed Curnow and Caleb Marchbank are set to return from injury on day one of pre-season training, with Carlton confident of opening its 2018 preparations with close to a full training squad.
    ...
The only Blues expected to be on modified programs at the start of the pre-season are Jack Silvagni (shoulder), Harry McKay (toe), Sam Rowe (knee) and Cameron Polson (shoulder).
    ...
Silvagni [ and] Polson ... should start running from day one of pre-season training, but would not resume contact drills until late November.
    ...
[Harry] McKay [is] expected to return to full training in about mid-November.
    ...
[Rowe] on target to play again in next year's JLT Community Series.

Patrick Kerr (hip surgery in July), Dylan Buckley (knee surgery in August), Alex Silvagni (knee bone bruising), Simon White (knee), Andrew Phillips (foot surgery in June) and Ciaran Byrne (ankle) were expected to start pre-season training on time.

We lost every game that Polson played in. By an avg of 90 points!

And Kerr didn't play in any wins either!

    Sakc re blues!

This is a glass half empty attitude.

The reality is Kerr did not play in a losing Carlton side this season.

Plenty of pressure in the atmosphere following Carlton's SSM release the other day...
