I Would say the answer is yes, he probably has a small say in list management decisions.. As in, his opinion on whether to retain someone or not would count

I Would say the answer is yes, he probably has a small say in list management decisions.. As in, his opinion on whether to retain someone or not would count
I would think his opinion is valued, particularly in terms of a player's mental drive to succeed at the elite level.

Last time we flagged cutting players we got no offers for them, why not pretend we are looking to keep him even if we aren’t?

Might become the last piece of a trade deal that improves the list, ain’t going to happen if we let clubs know they can wait and get him for nothing.

there are no other teams worthy
That seems like a definite retain now but would need to get his body 110% right to come out of blocks firing next season. Doubt he gets any two years contracts.

Interesting to hear that Lang has been carry ankle injury all year, so we should cut him some slack at least...
