I’m not one for rumour and innuendo but it appears that LeBois and Cottrell are on a sabbatical. The reason why is unclear and the club has chosen not to publicise their absence.

As mentioned above with Cuners it’s about getting the all clear from the specialist. With a bruised kidney you can’t do any contact training so even if he does get the all clear they might play him through the VFL just to get his legs back.
The above is all speculation on my part.
Other than that, I like that injury list. Interesting re: Kennedy.
Maybe Mr Plow can give a prognosis of when he can return?
Hey Burgers45, it's just not possible to know at this stage without knowledge of the scans and how Cunners is traveling. He was supposedly fine from a symptom perspective, but not being mentioned likely means that there is no update from the specialist. Hopefully only another week or two.
The sooner we get Cunners back on the park the better. We need his run and carry and ability to kick the important goal when it's needed.
So this Smegger.Good to see so many availables.
Williamson & Macreadie - ready for VFL. oh yeah!
Took the words out of my mouth. Would love him to develop into a Tom Stewart type. My only knock on him is his overhead marking ( don’t post vision of his one hander at Etihad ) in the few games he played I noticed that wasn’t a strength. We really need Willow across HB atm, I’m super bullish on the kid.
Deadly left peg, has mongrel, not exactly slow and quite agile.
Definite AFL standard player, get out there and go well young man
Winger who drifts back to launch forward, we really lack one of those. Simmo was for a season or so and was a real weapon, not capable anymore.I wouldn't be surprised if Williamson comes back and plays on the wing. Our backline is going well and settled. There's a position there. Will be interesting to see where he plays when he comes back.
Not enough love for Plowman.Took the words out of my mouth. Would love him to develop into a Tom Stewart type. My only knock on him is his overhead marking ( don’t post vision of his one hander at Etihad ) in the few games he played I noticed that wasn’t a strength.
Weitering, Jones,Marchbank,Simpson,Newman,Williamson that’s my back 6......what do you think? Plowman out?
Ok so who goes out of the defence for Williamson when he comes back? Weitering? Jones? Marchbank? Not enough love for Plowman.
Does the blocking and cover work for our intercept defenders and gets the ‘left over’ forward mismatch. After everyone else gets their best matchup, he has been pitted against the resting ruckman and small forward within the same quarter of games. Runs as far as anyone and is solid, if unspectacular, with his disposal.
Players and coaches all mention him as vital to the success of the defence, will take a poor run of form to see him dropped. Makes mistakes like all defenders with less than 100 games experience do, is reliable enough at this stage of his career.
It's a nice problem to have.Ok so who goes out of the defence for Williamson when he comes back? Weitering? Jones? Marchbank?
Defensive winger instead of hbf, or Simmo comes out.Ok so who goes out of the defence for Williamson when he comes back? Weitering? Jones? Marchbank?

Has Docherty officially been ruled out for the year?
I was hoping he might get back to play in the last couple of games, say round 20 onward.
If he's ready to go towards the end of the season, the best option would be to play him. He has missed too much footy and needs to get back onto the park ASAP.
