I Would say the answer is yes, he probably has a small say in list management decisions.. As in, his opinion on whether to retain someone or not would count

I would think his opinion is valued, particularly in terms of a player's mental drive to succeed at the elite level.

I reckon he's staying; as he should. Plays similarly to Cunners, and both provide good cover for each-other when either is out injured.

I wouldn't say this means Lang is safe. Just that he may be retained dependent on who we are able to trade in. Better making sure he is ready in case we do bring him back than waiting until we know if he will be back and him being behind.
