Charlie reminds me of Ken. Not sure where his arms have been

First thing I thought was Carlton aren't really announcing an injury at 4:46AM, are they?

This makes it sound like TDK and Curnow are on similar timelines and might miss the best part of the H&A seasons

No one knows except the club what the time frame would be. Just because someone says that Curnow should be fit for the finals it doesn’t mean he will miss all 22 rounds of the H&A season and magically come into the side for the qualifying final. Curnow might return in around 8 for all anyone knows.

It was more in regard to TDK where the club's initial statement was they expect him to miss the first few games which is a bit different to the Charlie situation.

It’s best to take clubs would for it and assume a return in a couple of months for TDK. That’s what we hope anyone.

Funny how Kreuzer was called a warrior with no luck in his thousand injuries.
While others are called soft.

MK usually suffered injuries out on the field, ankles, ACL etc and then enjoyed extended periods out.

I think they’re relating to the brittle bodies more so than the players being soft, which can happen for a multitude of reasons (prep, unlucky, just not made for the rigours of professional sport & so on).

I don't blame players for injuries.

It's a shame, but usually not their fault (unless they aren't training/rehabbing properly)

Some guys just don't have the bodies for afl footy. Or they are just in the wrong place at the wrong time in terms of contests.

Its not soft. Just unfortunate. For them mostly, but also for us watching talent wanted due to circumstances.

If McGovern keeps doing hamstrings then perhaps we're asking him to do to much running. It's great that he's trying to build that but perhaps his body isn't going to let him. He's got all the tools to be a hard running half forward if he can get things right but if his body isn't going to let him then perhaps he has to play a little deeper back or forward. McGovern is a hell of a talent, it would be a shame if we fail to utilise that.

The hamstring is more likely due to him being unfit and over stretching in game situations. If anything he needs more high intensity running. Hills. Long sprints to exhaustion. Quick off the mark shirt sprints. He’s needs to get his muscles used to the intensity.

Maybe so, at least we are better with this sort of thing than we used to be.
