All well and good if the intention is to keep a player - demand a price that no club in their right mind would agree to pay.
More like put a stupid price on his head - and if another club is stupid enough to pay it???

All yours.

Eg. When Packer sold Channel 9 to Alan Bond.

Has a good left peg.
Thats all I really know about him.
Can't see North cutting a young player if he had some real promise...it's not like they have an abundance of players who play his position keeping him out of the team...

Also the lack of apparent trade interest says something about his worth imo.
Even guys like Hrovat and Stewart had several clubs bidding.

With 2e gone, Byrne out for most of 2017 and Gus still struggling with injury, I think there's a spot for the taking in the back six regardless of Marchy coming in. McKenzie and Liquorland are different players but both could get an opportunity with us and are young enough to justify. Whether we take one of them instead of a pick in the 70s or 80s is the question.
We're actually really light on for half backs now...basically just Simpson who's only got a few years left, Docherty and the injured Byrne and Gus.

There's actually no depth at all.

Anyone else read the junk darthbards is posting in the main scandals page. Sos and bolts are both fighting about the draft decisions (obviously this is pretty old), sos wanted ex gws players. Bolts wanted more first rounders and players that wanted to play for blue. I find it highly unlikely that these two could be so toxic to one another it'll cause the issues this flog is shouting about. Apparently he KNOWS bolts didn't get what he wanted and might be out the door. What a joke. Any truth to this???

I would of thought people on here would know more about the inner working of Carlton than a western Bulldogs campaigner that clearly has something to spin. Where's the media on it?? So much gets out these days if it was true we'd have heard already.

That board is 95% excrement. People making shit up to troll and hopefully reel a few in. Get sucked in at your peril.

He keeps pushing it every chance he gets, too. I don't think anyone cares tbh. The fact is, no GWS players cost us first round draft picks (with SOS in charge), unless you're talking about Geelong's future first for Tuohy but that was well after this flog reported the feud.

There may be some truth to the feud, I dunno, but not for the reasons he gave.

Would have to be BS. Think about it. How long has this board known about SOS' GWS raid part 2? Now assuming that SOS and Bolts actually keep one another informed, they would have had this argument out months ago(assuming it's true about Bolts' preferences). No way would they have gone to the draft still at odds.

i was thinking more Ratten or Whitehead then Johnston.
Ratts started in the back pocket before becoming a very, very good mid. Probably similarly paced to Graham but the game is a fair bit quicker now.
Graham reminds me of the classic footballer born 20 years too late. Would have been extremely good in the nineties..

I think you're being unfair to Ratten. You don't start as a BP if you're slow. He also had very god reflexes.

Graham can find it but is slow of foot. Very.

Not being unfair at all, Ratts was a gun. Ratts could run but his speed wasn't his strength. Like you said, great reflexes, quick of mind and knew where to run. That made up for not being the quickest runner. If Graham had Ratt's smarts then he would be our 2nd best mid behind Cripps imo.
