In form Fasolo is not a hack.

Can't see us being after Fasolo or Fasolo being after Carlton.

Can see Fasolo being a target to a team like Geelong or even North who think they're a finals team and could do with a goal scoring forward.

I think if we manage to pick up a few mids, for argument's sake, Wallis, Brodie, Horlin-Smith - then we could afford to lose a tall defender for Lloyd.
A half back line of Lloyd, Marchbank, Docherty would be more than handy.

How much of Lloyd's good work is ability, and how much is system?

Is he the kind of leader who can come across and help our backline function, or will he be regularly exposed because the things he can do at Sydney get punished when he tries to do them with us?

I want him, for sure...but I'm uncertain about whether his form can transcend clubs.

It will seem odd, given how many defenders we have, but even a key position defender would help.

Injuries seem to have finished Silvagni, Rowe is not AFL standard when the ball hits the ground, Jones limited in what role he can play.

Journos are working hard for their player manager mates - I think Fasolo had depression or some sort or another before he got injured shoulder - perhaps a move back West is a better place for Alex.

Costs us nothing and he has the promise of game time if he stays fit. Definitely has the experience and more nous than other small forward prospects we have. Could replace Wright for a start and LeBois looks like a miss at this stage. Even if he plays VFL he will help the side. No brainer for me. Only 26, played 19 games last year. Maybe he'll get himself right like Ahern for North this year?
