Excuse me? What? Hahaha, Rance, yeah, Riewoldt is an okay KPF and Dusty is good. But apart from that? Their list is pure garbage. Will be bottom 4 next year.
Plus reiwoldt has just had a ankle reconstruction so he may struggle to hit peak form next year.

Jobe's ******* gap year... the campaigner wasn't on ******* holidays for 12 months. He was banned for taking a banned substance... despite everything that the AFL says... he is a ******* cheating ****** and needs to be stripped of his illegally won Brownlow and publicly humiliated while they are doing it.

I don't give a **** if it hurts the campaigners feelings... he shouldn't have ******* cheated in the first place!
Run that past me again, not quite sure where you stand on the topic...:p

I find it hard to believe that we can all of a sudden leap frog Richmond, Melbourne, Saint Kilda and probably North in the space of 12 months, Richmond are one team that can easily reload and make the finals again next season for example (they have a pretty solid top 6 core of players)

The Good news is that we're pretty much setting up our backline for the future in good stead, which means the days of 80 plus blowouts are a thing of the past, but it all boils down to lack of decent midfield depth, speed, and of course, our impotent foward line (of sorts)

And now that Mr 'Boring' Roos has left, the Dees will be massive improvers next year, reckon they will make the eight, especially they'd want to go all Go to Whoa to try and keep Jesse Hogan at the Club.

Suspect we'll probably finish very similar to this season, somewhere between the 11th - 15th spot range on the ladder.

I suspect around 2018/19 is when we'll likely see significant improvement in terms of wins and ladder position, especially once the likes of Prince Charles and Hazza Mckay can get 40 games (touch wood) under their belt.

But it's really impossible to predict anything that will happen next year with any certainty, I'd like to think we will finish above Collingwood, despite what the experts say, their kids are crap bar Moore (De Goey is an absolute flop) and there's talk of them bringing in Chris Mayne and Daniel Wells lol

How we gunna get Marchbank and Pickett without giving up 5?

If we do, then that's simply amazing
Pickett is apparently on a 12 month extension. They need to clear cap space. I would be absolutely stoked if somehow Steele fell through to us.

And if GWS are trying to get the scums #1 pick... I would be doing everything possible to shake loose Barrett as well.

We could end up doing Marchbank, Pickett, Steele, Stewart and Barrett for our 2016 and 2017 second round picks. We might also have to toss in a third round pick just to make up the numbers.

Because if they manage to work a deal with * for the #1 pick, they will be giving up 2 first round picks. OR... they might do a trade with Freo of pick #3 for McCarthy and pick #7.

So many permutations!

POTY

makes me sick the media fawning all over him. He lead his young team mates through a systematic cheating regime.. He is every bit as culpable as Hird was.

The feeling I have been getting from the rumours on Tom Mitchell is that we are no longer keen on him. We were linked to him heavily a few years ago and then he turned around and re-signed with Sydney. We were linked to him heavily and then turns out he is using us to push his price up but going to the Hawks. Now if the latest is true and Hawks cant fit him in all a sudden hes keen again. There is nothing I like about the situation involving Tom Mitchell. If we sign him up and he is just going to hold us to ransom when that contract ends to keep him at the club. Seems like a gun for hire. Especially when we seem to be low balling Tuohy, to go and spent the money on Mitchell wouldnt be right. Dont want.
I dont begrudge any player seeking greener pastures, whether it is to return home or to gain a long term lucrative contract that is not being offered to him at his first club. I dont think that taints you as a player at all. But i do think that going to a third club does taint you. Its a much different situation walking out on a second club, where you would then be judged as a mercenary.

That would be devestating if they pushed us back a pick
It should mean an outright declaration of war on the AFL from us, they must be getting tired of getting bent over at Ikon park. If I was Trigg I'd be kicking that piece of filth Mark Evans down a long flight of stairs if the opportunity presented itself.

Would love Pickett. Unlucky with injuries and is being spat out by the seemingly endless run of 1st round draft picks and academy players.
The GWS machine waits for no man, no matter how talented.
I love that SOS keeps going back to this well.
We're building a talented list at is below market prices.
I wasnt sold on the idea of Pickett, thought he was just another GWS player who wasnt good enough to crack there best 22 and we would just be getting there hand me downs.. Then i watched his draft video and started getting wood about the thought of him wearing navy Blue. If he was in this years draft with those highlights he would be going #1. If we have an opportunity to acquire him we should be jumping all over it.

I heard on SEN yesterday someone mention that Daniel Wells will likely get North Melbourne a 2nd round pick as FA compo.. Surely he is not worth anything more than Jarrad Waite was.
That's a joke if true, when we received nothing. But Wells is likely being offered 200k more then Waite and an extra year but still bullshit if true.
