I also did hear Carlton are going hard after tom lynch (suns) for a first round pick plus we would get picks back or another player but I guess you guys won't believe that one either

Why trade for him this year when he is a free agent next year and we have the war chest to make sure GC17 doesn't match the offer.

Because Essendon are going hard after him so why would we wait if he is gonna get traded? He doesn't want to be there anymore since eade is gone #bluemour

Only reason GC would be keen to trade Lynch now is if they want to go full rebuild following Ablett exit.

But is Getting #3 now better for them than #3 in a super draft next year?
Would our 1st round pick next year be better than the likely free agent compo?

Whilst you were at the Legends game did your sources also tell you that SOS is up for trading our first pick to lure Jonathan Brown out of retirement on a 5 year deal.

Your as bad as Earl so piss off.

We're not building to have a tilt at the flag next year B_F.
I suggest we're following the Melbourne model by getting as much young talent into the club, without getting rid of our older players. If Gibbs requests a trade, there's not much we can do about it. It's SOS' job to get the best possible deal for Gibbs, and if he cannot then Gibbs plays out his next 2 years with us.
That's correct. But not sure what it has to do with me wanting us to take pick #9 over pick#14+Wigg

If they finished bottom 2 next year, they would be getting band 1 compo... So picks 1 and 2 if they finished bottom. And the AFL might just give them a PP for their troubles. So they could end up with picks 1, 2, and 3.

Josh green has had an injury riddled season but once he gets back on track he will be a top level player again, 2x leading goal kicker for his club and has atleast 6 more decent seasons in him, Gibbs may only have 1-2, need to think about that plus a third round draft pick who we could trade for someone like Kennedy from gws, I hear sos really wants him so basically if you think about it, it's a win win for Carlton.
