Not keen on D Smith. Smacks of 2nd/3rd choice type thing as others fall off the shopping list. Ok if we pay next to nothing. Rather not pay a premium pick. We have outside mids...we need some mids with physicality.

Surrounded by stars there with no focus on his game. Huge risk at another club.
He'd be the 4th best midfielder at our club behind Cripps, Murphy and Kreuzer.

There won't be a huge focus on him if he came here either.

If we can get him in the Kennedy deal...

Um, hang on a minute.

Just because a first choice player has fallen through has little to do with the second or third plans in place. I know next to nothing, beyond the teams I've seen playing us free to air and the sides playing us when we're not, but to this point we've seen plenty from the lesser lights SOS has picked up.

Back him in. His choices up to the present day have gone alright; who's to say that, this year, he's stuffed it all up?

We're into Devon Smith big time wants more midfield time won't get it GWS
Great news, though haven't really heard anything of note indicating that either Devon or Kennedy are actually interested in joining Carlton...i notice your rumours are purely that we are interested in them. Fingers crossed they both want to join us.

Interesting that Tomlinson's name is being thrown around again as a target, Collingwood the suitors this time.
That will not happen, they lose Tomlinson and they have Davis and who as talls in the backline?

Come to think of it, that would bring the golden ticket well into the frame as part of the Kelly deal!!

One of my Hawthorn mates who's indirectly involved with the Hawks but gets good mail (called Tom Mitchell to the Hawks a year before) reckons our involvement of helping them to get O'Meara last year will be acquiring Jonathan O'Rourke with a late pick or as a delisted free agent.

Not sure I believe it myself but if my memory serves correct SOS grabbed O'Rourke in the Plowman draft and was known to be a reach pick at #2.

Not sold on him as a player but has been injury hampered plus he looked good last weekend in Box Hill's final, what did we contribute to Hawthorn last year by the way?

Don't mind for a late pick or DFA...a free hit essentially.

Obviously has/had potential and clearly SOS liked him using pick 2 on him...don't expect much but if he shows anything it's a bonus.
