my off the cuff response stays the same - I'd rather keep Gibbs and add FA in Rockliff - unless Gibbs compensation gets two extra mids of class on top of Rockliff who is irrelevant to discussion - not interested one iopa in pick #10 for Gibbs - and taking that to the draft- none of the mids on offer in this years top 10 draft picks interest me at all.

Keeping Gibbs, while gaining Rocky seems to be with a short term view of the next 2-3 years, which for me is not a benefit to a long term strategy. I would be on board with this type of list management if we had finished 9th or 10th this year and rising. Then both of these players would be great contributors in finals and of winning a flag.
I prefer to take a 5+ year view to our list management. If we lose Gibbs and gain Rocky, +/- it is a zero affect, the benefit is potentially adding 1 or multiple players to our list for the long term.
Forgetting the exact position of where each of these draftees will be selected, but for this post, let's assume the order will be as listed below
