Not sure Id use the term yo yo, but we could certainly do with his pace and run out of the backline, and has really good disposal efficiency too, despite what people are saying, its above 80% for his career o far from memory. Pace, run, uses the ball well coming out of defence, how does he not fit in our backline. We certainly need a small defender back there.
Why small? I know what you mean but height alone shouldn't determine the player.
I agree that we could do with less 194cm players in the backline and add some run and carry, but don't feel it for Saad.
If SOS and Bolton do though, after meeting and greeting, then fine.

Would not want him! im on the coast and ive heard that him and Ablett are the 2 most disliked blokes at the club both are flogs
Apparently Hall walked out on his missus in the middle of the night
Not a fan, hoping he won't end up at Carlton. As if Cripps is going to play mainly forward next season. What a load of bs!

I think Saad might be genuinely homesick, not just on of these other guys who pack it in 3 or 4 years later after a Melb club offers more money. I met him and his family before his debut in Broadbeach the day of his debut, they seemed a great family and all so excited to see him play. Given his Lebanese background I would suggest he's genuinely finding it difficult being away from them, given it's so engrained in there culture.

Would love him at Carlton, watched him so many times at the Suns and he's a guy who puts people in the stands just to watch him play. Sure his disposal isn't always the best but that can be worked on, most of the time it isn't even his poor disposal that's the issue. It's that none of his team-mates have to work rate to see what he's doing and get themselves open, so often they job behind him and by the time he needs to get rid of the ball all his teammates are behind him and his only option is a contest or get it to space.
His DE is 82% for his career. Why are people running with hi disposal isn't that good? Its a fallacy. Some of the midfielders we are looking at don't have that good a DE%. You know that super elite mid that everyone wanted from GWS, one J. Kelly only has a DE% of 71 over his career.

If we are looking for someone to be accountable and play on small forwards then Saad is not the answer. Docherty is a better 1 on 1 defender than Saad and Doc isn't amazing at it.
We can get the ball out of the backline alright but could do with someone like Saad that can carry it for 30-40 metres.
I just don't trust him as he seems to be a player that plays for self first and team after. I may be wrong though, but I would like that small exit player to have some real mongrel about them and not just some pretty run and carry. Still holding out for Pickett to become that but maybe he's better served elsewhere.

Its sound enough logic. We simply cannot fit all of our talls into 22.
Be very interesting to be a fly on the wall in our list management meetings.
At some point in the near future, we are very much going to be discussing some of our recent draftees as trade bait. Soapy is gonna meltdown, as he has them all best 22 for ten years. Hahahahaha. Just jokin Soapy;):D

Dude, your talking about a Lebo from Coburg. Trust me he would have some mongrel.

thinking of buying a new vacuum this weekend, jimma - any ideas?

ps: can you believe I don't work 1 day a fortnight and it's ******* tomorrow? dang!
I personally rock the Dyson V6. Durable and reliable. I guess there are a lot of factors to consider; size of house, pets, style of floor i.e: Carpet, tile.
