the plow has to be one of our most underrated players now. IMO was our 2nd best defender behind doc over the course of the year
Perhaps but also the player with the highest trade value (apart from one or two we'd wouldn't trade, regardless) and lowest 'ceiling' of all our KPDs. Who would have thought we'd let go of Tuohy so easily? Not saying it would happen but tactically, he'd be the first I'd think of if we needed the 'currency', certainly before next year's first or Macreadie.

Rocky is close enough to par with Gibbs and is a year younger. If we square off that we are overall even.

If we get pick 10 for Gibbs, it's basically adding free youth.
Unless we stuff the pick due to it being a shallow (supposedly) draft. Pick 10 to GWS with one of their 2nds coming back though for the two mentioned players.

It is a re-charge with a cute little set up you can screw into your wall. Bagless and you get about 30-40 minutes of battery life after a full charge, 15-20 if you use the max power option. I think I got mine for 350ish at Harvey Norman.

No updates on Rocky I'm afraid. I unfortunately don't have any inside info in the world of AFL, but when it comes to vacuums I am your encyclopedia.
350? have you any idea how little I get for appearing on bf?

As long as their names start with Graham, Buckley and Boekhorst. I'll be happy.
assuming we bring in the likes of Rockliff, kennedy and Smith which seems to be the plan, I wonder if the Suns would be interested in the likes of Kerridge, Graham, Boekhurst for say Saad and one of heir gazillion 2nd rounders? Would argue they need players more than picks.

Just to re-rail the fred

Rockliff is sleeping with blokes from Port
Cripps is playing as a forward
Gibbs is going staying and his pick is going for a boke that is nominating Carlton last night but didn't and another bloke who has a 5 year contract in front of him but has dicky knees
Saad is a mongrel from Coburg who is unaccountable defensively and selfish in attacking mode
Plowman should be traded

Oh and Thy needs a vacuum cleaner- I second the vote for Dyson

You nailed it.

If you go back a few more pages you can also learn the art of the fend off.

We got it all!

I see Saad as a better fit in the back 6 than Byrne for instance, think we are far too tall down there.
Excuse me putting this forward for the 653rd time but this is the backline I'd like to see going forward:

Byrne..188 Jones..198 Plowman..192
Docherty...187 Marchbank..193 Saad-type..don't care for the height as long as they can run and carry.....mmmm....Williamson maybe? :)

Byrne is a lot more agile than his size suggests. Can run and carry also.

Being a bit selective there mate to suit your argument. How about Gibbs, Murphy, Rocky and Cripps teaching SPS, Fisher, Cuningham, Kennedy, Polson, pick 3, 2018 1st rounder.

Respect your view but when you look at how many 1st round picks are in the crows side and the tigs this weekend, i don't feel its as important as your making it out if our picks are 2-3 later than predicted.
Would you rather go to the drafts with picks #4, #7 and #13 or picks #10, #12 and #13?

Also re the mids, I'm not being selective. Those 4 youngsters I mentioned are part of the team. That's why I said we don't have the core young midfield group yet. SPS, Cuningham and Polson won't be enough.

Besides, it's only Gibbs that will be missing from the 'teachers' however the youngsters will include: pick #3, #4, #7, #10, SPS, Cuningham, Fisher and Polson. Better to have the higher draft picks vs the lower.
