G.C. will want a player for him not picks, as they have them coming out of their anus already. Also because they will have to start again if they get more kids and they have plenty of youngsters already......they need a young player, but one with a few years under his belt that can step up straight away. As far as Geelong not wanting an old bloke goes...........oh yes they want him all right because he has pace and the cats do not have a lot of that to go around, and why would they be interested if they thought he was finished..........

Can't wait to a see who SOS has his eyes on re: the experienced bodies for the midfield. Trigg said this is something we're targeting for the upcoming draft as we for found out for depth in the middle.

I don't want to oversell it, but having a couple of experienced bodies in there for rotations will be a massive improvement over this season. I cringed at times seeing Matty Wright at the centre bounce - just 0 effectiveness there.

SOS probably already has a long list of potential delistee's and state
leaguers, but I guess they're going to have to be better than Graham for us to even bite.

Haven't seen any names mentioned so far fitting this criteria.

I think there are at least two wafl guys that have been mentioned on here..........Jones a ruckman from East Perth who is 22 years 205cm and a mid by the name of Kelly...........(same name different state) 23 years 187cm I think, from South Freo.

Hopper and Kennedy for two early seconds, was what I put forward.

Unders for Hopper, overs for Kennedy, about right as a package deal.

May well get Balic for a fourth, but I'd not be disappointed if it took our third rounder either.

Casboult compo is it's own topic. I'm not getting my hopes up too much, just spitballing a scenario that gets us Hopper, Kennedy and Balic without giving up a first rounder.

Ablett had a heavily front ended contract with GC. Next season he is on not much, which is why GC are not too happy with him.
