See if you can find some of Kelly's highlights from last night, no disrespect to Mitchell, but Kelly is far superior.I hope Kelly is not like Tom mitchell ,someone that gets a lot of nothing possesions ,i haven't seen much of him .
Seeing different results on multiple sites. FootyWire has him down for 3 clangers. Another site has him down for 8.
Strange. Let's leave it to CD to have their official match stats out on Monday. Weird. Sicily is down for 10 clangers on one site and he had 13 touches (7 kicks, 6 handballs).

Imagine if things had turned out differently and we had Titch and Crippa as our engine room....Mitchell is an absolute gun. He was sensational last night. Killed us in the clearances
We would be the number 1 contested ball and clearance team I'm the comp. I watch him live last night at every stoppage and he has an amazing ability to get his hands on the ball and hit a target. He create a space with his creativity. It's incredible that people judge him on metres gained stat. That is like judging a key forward on how many spoils they get. Fact is he sets them up in the midfield.Imagine if things had turned out differently and we had Titch and Crippa as our engine room....

Agreed. We miss Crippa so much.
Duly noted by P. Cripps.
Does one have the initials LH? Or JB?2 experienced skills coaches will be at the club next year
I agree ,
Kelly is on another level to Treloar .
It sounds very much like Gibbs is staying and whatever compo Casboult returns if he leaves won't be enough on top of pick 4 .
Top price will rightly be demanded for Kelly .
N.O.Does one have the initials LH? Or JB?
What I heard about Griff is that we would be offering a deal similar to Mitchell when he went over to WCE. Except that Griff is happy to play next year for the Bullants and then move sideways into a development coaching role.Griffen hates the Melbourne fishbowl environment apparently .
Probably happy to sit on the last year of his contract in relative obscurity and just disappear into the sunset ...
Float that offer on the main board ...
If Casboult leaves. Stevens on Channel 7 this morning stated limited interest in Casboult, and more likely to stay.

Not sure but I was very impressed with Mitchell. I don't think they lost because of Mitchell's performanceNo disrespect to Mitchell but do you think we would have beaten Hawthorn if it was Sam Mitchell who had that many possessions?

When did the main board actually last close a trade?
Around the same time completely unbiased club boards did ...
Probably end up with pick 3, north beat brisbane and jump us or brisbanes/GC could jump us in % if results fall that way. Going to be very closeGiven we won and now will likely have pick 4, I would be happy with use using that to trade for Kelly. Initially I was hesitant with pick 1 or 2, but 4 in this draft I'd be happy to give up for someone of Kelly's ability.
The question I have next is, what else will we need to add to pick 4?

They're different players. Sam is now a receiver and distributor while Tom is an extractor. Like trying to compare Levi to Jarryd Roughead just because they're tall and play as forwards. No disrespect to Mitchell but do you think we would have beaten Hawthorn if it was Sam Mitchell who had that many possessions?
