It's not the expectation (well at least not myself) but more how tall do we want to be??

his passion is basketball?
I really don't care about how good any of the silvagnis are. I just want them in the team so the herald sun can do those 2 page spreads on brothers playing in the same team like they did with the three cloke brothers.
You should contact North. I hear they've got a thing for older guys and plenty of money to burn.
I was going to like this post until you brought up the all bleats
Technically true if you think about it.
Not what I've heard. I've heard he's as keen as mustard. Determined. Maybe just can't give a rats arse about high school football.
Exceptional basketballer btw. Friend of mines son plays in same team. That's how I know the other stuff re attitude.
Anyway, back to the bluemours.
Just posted this in the Kennedy thread on the D&T board. I'm increasingly thinking that #39 gets it done (which was my original thought before being persuaded into using a 2nd by you lot)...
Kennedy might have been taken at #13 in his draft year, but it was a bid match and only cost GWS #34 and #40 (equivalent of 18/19 on points). He's fringe 22 and probably gets pushed back further next year with injured players coming back and a fresh batch of young guns ready to come in.
I wouldn't completely rule out using a 2nd on him, and GWS have every right to hold out for one, but #39 should get it done.
Rumour floating around that SOS has offered our pick in the 50's (not sure of exact pick) and GWS have countered with 'interest' from Lions to kill the PSD factor. Unless a Gibbs deal gets done, that leaves this year's #39 or next year's 2nd as our only options.
If GWS are happy to do a deal for a 2nd rounder, they are saying that he's effectively lost half his value from his original #13 draft position. We're saying that he's lost half his value from what GWS actually paid for him, which puts him around #37.
Kennedy has already nominated us...Thats 25% of the work already completed.
If the Gibbs deal is reality and not a figment of all our imaginations then it will or may have a domino effect on a few other deals.
No matter what other clubs think they can see, M Kennedy has nominated Carlton as his preferred destination.
If I was a list manager at another club..Id be focusing on deals that are more likely to eventuate then the Kennedy one.
Time is limited.
It's almost as deep based on what I've seen so far.
have some respect for your elders. cheeky little bugger
200 pages, 5000 posts and we still haven't landed Pav.
We've got the inside chance for Jonathan Brown
IF the Gibbs talk is a figment of our imagination and the media keeps kicking its tires on it then Silvagni or someone should come out and reject it.
Instead, we have The Reidiot coming out and claiming that it's not on. This tells me he's tempering Crows fans expectations after last year's debacle more than anything else.
Maybe its time to turn our attention to Nick Riewoldt?
Hear Goddard's available from Essendon if we help them land Stringer and his high schooler
Although I'm watching everything intently, I've been extremely impressed with everything SOS has managed to date.
No twisted knickers in my camp.
Happy to wait.
Scully is the new Pav.
Scully is so hot right now.
Surely she has finished her VCE by now?
All I want is a pat on the head and one of our trusties to say it'll all be ok!!
