Ide take that in a heartbeat ...... Cripps/Kennedy/Ed/SPS would love knowing their hard work at stoppages was going to a smooth mover like Gaff. We would probably see (plucking a figure out of my arse), +10% in scoring just from his boot into the F50 alone.

Only thing is, he turns 26 mid this year ... so not 100% sure if the demographics are right.

I could watch his delivery all day ...

He would be with us for 4 full seasons before he turns 31, the who knows after that, perfect age group i think. Would prefer Dahlhous though.

They keep trying to turn Petracca into a midfielder when he's a medium forward flanker with strength. Similar to Billings, he's not going to be able to get that kind of tank required to play midfield.
You might be right but im sure they are thinking they are developing a Dusty clone. Dustin had to rest fwd with little mid time for years before developing a tank that could survive more time in the midfield. Martin used to burn out after half time.

As a team that will still be up the top of the ladder when we start to make our move, I hope Petracca fails as you see it.

When I heard Shiel declined being a part of the leadership group a week or two back...I knew there and then he wouldn’t be sticking around GWS... something suss about it if you ask me..

Yep. I should mention I’m not certain on the time frame I think he said 2 years and I’m assuming it’s free agency. I was a bit preoccupied and it was a short chat
He’s a restricted free agent end of 2019...this was the “rumour” when he signed his last contract for 2 years.

Carlton fanatic, gun footballer...will go nicely in a midfield featuring Cripps, Charlie, SPS, Dow, Fisher et al (and Gaff hopefully)

If the Dogs have another stinker, could Dahlhous be tempted? I would rather him than Gaff and think he suits us better.
I like Dahlhaus, but he’s not in Gaffs company for skill, consistency and 2 way running.

Behind Gaff, I’d take Dahlhaus or Libba. Not interested in a well overpriced market for Sloane (really hope Saints go for and land him).
