They'll say clubs x,y and z have offered enough for us to trade you to them so choose one or you can stay. Every club wants him.
They won't push him out and if he is set on moving I doubt he only has eyes for Carlton
You're not listening

He has already said he plans on staying, has no intention of leaving, and the only way he does is if GWS want to offload him early.

So either GWS want to get rid of him, in which case he nominates a club and they deal fairly because they're the ones being helped - or he stays.

Like Boogie Cousins?? And Durant before him?

If you don’t change the FA rules, you’ll get the same results.

The top clubs get the best players and the bottom clubs get to keep drafting and developing said top players until they leave via FA.... to a top club.
Well yes, that's what I'm saying. You may as well just play the conference finals now..

The AFL can learn nothing from the NBA in terms of equalisation.

Well, hypothetically if a deal were to be agreed upon before the finals, it would be for an injured player. Setterfield did his ACL in Feb, any updates on how his rehab is progressing? Presumably we wouldn't expect him to be featuring in senior football at whichever club until, what, round 5 or so next year?

Rowe was back by then and did his in-season. Docherty is back running, Goldsack playing Magoo’s. JLT if all to plan.

Yeah, but they're all senior players with senior bodies. I figure a young kid who's had an injury-affected preseason would likely need a run of games in the reserves to build up some match fitness?

GSW built their “super team” via the draft, and then by some “luck” with new TV deal increasing salary cap AND having Curry on a bargain deal, were able to afford KD. To me, that’s good team management. Built long-term via draft, developed them into superstars and managed cap space just as well.

Finally, my Lakers have woken up to this a couple of years ago and low and behold, hit jackpot in FA this year.

All for equalisation but at the same time, can’t punish the good teams for managing their teams as they should, while others mismanage and pay the price.

So Setters and another player done deal without the priority pick, so the priority pick will be used for Gov?

2nd player has to be Shiel.. or could it be Scully? Just please don't be Patton..
Doesn't have to be two players from the same club.

GWS agree to trade Setterfield for an early second rounder, plus we come to terms with a free agent from somewhere else?
