Re: McGovern
I'd really like to see him break his contract and walk to PSD. We can stay at Arm's length through that
Re: Shiel
Surely St Kilda not a threat.
He could easily retire, get delisted and then put his name in the PSD. Simples.

You'd be surprised how much stuff you can get done in 19 minutes.
For all the building blocks we’ve put in place, genuinely hope we don’t piss it away in a bidding war for another Messiah.

Even if Shiel has indicated to his manager that, if he leaves he prefers team X. You would still expect his manager to look at all options and meet with all clubs. If not he is not he shouldn't manage. The rumours come out and bump his price up. Open market economy, demand Vs Supply if demand is higher than supply price goes up.Obviously we’re biased here, but looking at St Kilda list - who is he looking at that he’d consider a player who can help win a premiership?
We don’t have many, but at least a we have some.
If St Kilda comes in with a huge offer it may cause a re-negotiation of the numbers with us (or others), but I’d be shocked if he went there. There’s a reason they are being considered for a priority pick... the list is diabolical.
Don't know how much of their money is tied up in Carlisle, so it's possible that they're sitting almost as pretty as we are.
And, realistically, they almost need him more than we do; he'd be a pinch of x factor in a list of mediocrity, and his influence might provide Billings with a bit of pressure and a mentor in the aim of finding some consistency.
Their end is easy to understand, but why Shiel'd go to them - or us, really - is a bit of a stretch for me. He's on decent money, his team's made finals for what, the third/fourth year running, and he's a FA next year in a situation to make this the payday of all paydays. He's a chance, provided the finals are good for him and his form is good next year, to initiate a bidding war for his services next year, and set himself up for life.
Don't get me wrong, I hope he chooses us. I just don't see his reasons for opting out now, not with his contract to expire and to ensure a huge payday next year. He strikes me as a professional, and professionals don't mind who they work for so long as their work is to their standards and their prospects are good (salary, contract length, success etc).
In a few years, you'll be able to look at an xray, make some notes and charge $350.
And have 12 mins to spare!
No not at allSupporters crying out for good players to join us and you "hope" a good player chooses another club?![]()
I do - but I wasn't aware you did. Who else knows?

You’re in good early form.SOS says we’ll deal with any club.
So far we’ve spoken with GWS, Greater Western Sydney and the Giants.
Keep quiet on that 3rd one.![]()
Three year deal for Setter, McG wants four.
Gotta think Gold Coast will be very happy to take Jack Lukosius
Oh they are trading that pick for McGovern?
Twice now that Barass has quoted 90N90S confirming his rumour, how about we don't drive him out, clearly getting good info.
Just can't get excited about landing Fasolo

If that occurs, they may become a threat?
