I didn't mind Rohan Connolly at one point, but he had his black and red scarf on too tight during the * drugs sagaRohan Connolly.

A lot of noise about Clarkson to Carlton ...so much so he comes out in the media to deny
Hmmmm
More on Clarko ...
Clarkson tackles 'elephant in the room', and says he's not going to Carlton
Alastair Clarkson has again moved to quash speculation he would coach Carlton next year, addressing the “elephant in the room” with Hawthorn players.www.theage.com.au
I agree. I reckon the right coach will have us contending by 2021-2 - Scott Camporeale would be a good fit.I hope he is being truthful. I don’t want a big name coach. I would prefer we identify an up and coming assistant that becomes the next Mathews, clarko etc.
As a matter of fact ,I don't mind them every now and then ..Grumpy bum...I bet you don't like anchovies on a pizza as well!
he was the first to say during their successful period that it is a balancing act. You cant have it both ways. IIRC he discussed the possibility of trying for a 3rd premiership with the players and coaches after the back to back, as he was concerned about whether they could do it a third time with their list and ageing profile. Clearly he was ambivalent about it, but if they had decided to start rebuilding after the back to back then they would have 1 less premiership. He took the medicine a year later with the Hodge/Mitchell/Lewis removal.
If you dont take the chance when it is in front of you you are a mug. He did and they were successful. Other teams have failed. its pretty easy to take pot shots from the cheap seats and with the benefit of hindsight
This could be the worst post in the history of BigFooty.
