always thought wright was a more than handy player. surprised he was cut. having said that is he really what we need?
Don't mind him as long as we don't go the Jones path of giving him games just to try and justify picking him up. If he has the drive to play, and will need to perform well enough to earn his gametime, he's no worse for us than a speculative rookie pick. Ideally he'll be replaced in the next 2 years by one of our high-end draftees, so we wouldn't be grabbing him as a long-term investment.

Wright would be a good pick up, small fwd/mid with pace, goal sense and with the rotation cap a mature running body is good to have in team.
so yeah he is what we need.
Age 25 is the only real problem but its not to bad still need mature players in the team.

I'd take Wright... seems a really solid sort of player and from what I learnt off the Adelaide supporters, they were seriously upset that he was delisted ahead of a couple of their other players who just didnt perform last season but got games because of their names.

you know what I mean doesn't fit the age bracket of the rebuild which 18-23 year olds
Not trying to be difficult, but can't see 25 as being a problem. IF he is good enough and stays fit, there are 5-6 seasons in him. The question is more around his ability not age. Paddy Dangerfield is 25; I don't think anyone anywhere would have turned him away because he didn't fit a preferred age bracket.

I'm mixed on Wright.

I like what he could offer ... however, he seems another Jason Tutt type though (with his height and speed).
I'm also mixed on him. One thing I know for sure though, he's a helluva lot harder than Tutt. Better around goals too IMO.
