Prefer Wright to Gorringe.
But I like runners who can kick goals over KPP/Ruck who *might* be exceptional.
Maybe because at least the runner is likely to do something for you
To be honest, I'm still struggling to see where Gorringe would fit in to our team.
Is he a ruck? We already have Kruez, Wood, and Phillips with Casboult and Rowe who both can pinch hit. We have Korchek on the list too as a project. From what I've seen and read he doesn't do to well in the ruck.
Is he a KP forward? This would make more sense but how would we structure up? When we already have Casboult, is having two players in our forward half who are 200cm really the way to go? Unless he is agile and mobile enough to play CHF. From what i hear he is a great athlete. If true I hope we get him to study Nick Reiwoldt and have him running his arse off up to the wings and doubling back again.
If we do play him in that role who plays second ruck? Do we also bring in Wood or Phillips? Would then having Kruez, 2nd Ruck, Gorringe, and Casboult in the one team be too top heavy? Or doesn't it matter with Gorringe as he is agile enough?
I hope we are not just signing a bloke to play Reserves.
