I think that the club is getting more proactive in trying to sell the future to Bailey... it was shown when we pulled in Dean and Bailey along with the 3 SOSOS's and Jake Bradley for the Peter Dean Father/Son academy launch the other day.

Picture of him training in carlton gear at father son launch last week.

There's plenty of pictures on the internet of him training at stk but no sight of them on his insta.

It could be nothing.....but then again...
He is a massive Carlton supporter after all :D

Personally I'm over the Mick vs the board talk, but completely understand why others partake.

What I will say though is that in the last few pages it has devolved from a discussion about Mick into a discussion about the discussion about Mick.

It's like an MC Escher painting had sex with a Charlie Kaufman film. The sequel to Being John Malkovich (MM in the starring role), if you will... o_O

Oh and relax everybody. I'll separate some of this discussion into some board/Mick/Rogers/processes/whodunit bastardised hybrid thread for the compulsively tedious so a few of us who are interested can go about our business in peace.

You're telling other people to relax and calling them compulsively tedious in the same paragraph?

Kind of goes without saying, doesn't it?
It does but it is an acknowledgement that we don't have things our own way and we were taking our time with no pressure before and suddenly we have pressure we didn't expect.

There was talk that discussing what the recent tragedy meant for our coach search was too soon and maybe insensitive, but the reality is we are still a professional club competing with other professional clubs for sponsorships, supporters, players and personnel and you can't let these things sit for too long.

Meh, the rumour discussion thread has always contained some casual banter and chit chat. That's why we have the dedicated untarnished Bluemour File. So long as its the exception rather than the rule, it's fine.

Conversation breaks out spontaneously where you see something then gets back on track. So long as it is not complete nonsense, it's is part of the charm of an online community.
