Pretty sure unless he has a blinder final 2 games, Menzel is another player who'll be traded out for a draft pick, a top 15 pick would satisfy me, and maybe a fringe player as well. We wouldn't be losing much if we traded Menzel, based on this year's form

Too young and too good to write off yet I think. An injury free preseason and year of footy will probably change a lot of peoples minds.

Menzel a star ? That's pushing it.
The club (if you believe the print journos) are hellbent on getting 4 top 20 draft picks,and Menzel is one of our few assets that can get us one of those picks.

Menzel's on field body language and efforts have concerned me for quite some time now.

I'd say the pick is overs TBH. Early 2nd round, (say 23ish) is more likely maybe with a 3rd/4th type upgrade.

Yarran & 42 for 14 & 50 type arrangement with Richmond

Which essentially would be: Menzel, Yarran & 56 for 14,23,50

and would leave us with 2,11,14,21,23,39,50 (assuming Hendo to Cats)

the first 5 are a very good platform for a 66 game rebuild and the latter two picks are very good for F/S bidding

or even bagging a slider.

based on the last 12 months we wouldn't get a first round pick for Menzel, I know he was rated top 5 and we got him cheap because of knee issues, but he's been putrid of late. Would rather Bolton turned him around, we might get better compensated end of next year if he delivers on half his ability.

I'd rather keep Menzel than take a pick above 20. He's contracted and he's proven he can play, and he's the age we need. My concern is he's too injury prone.

1. You would be unlikely to get it and frankly, (no offence intended), sound a lot like * at the trade table.
2. We are told the draft is shallow. WTF knows? 5 picks in the first 23
