I’m not usually one to publicly push back on other “ITK” posters, but that Bluemour isn’t accurate at all.

He won’t be returning this year, but no final decision has been made about his future at this stage.

I’ve been across the Elijah situation well before it became public.

Just had a Melbourne older gentleman passenger in my Uber on the Gold Coast tonight and he said his very reliable source has told him that Longmire is already locked in to coach Carlton in 2026. I queried how sure his source was and he was very certain and well connected.

Now that the rabbit is out of the hat, Charlie's head is very much out of Carlton.

And in the event that Charlie does leave, we will not be lifting our offer to TDK.

I know there's been a lot of conjecture re TDK lately but as of the last few weeks I have been told the following:

• He hasn't yet made up his mind.
• We're trying to bridge the gap between our offer and St. Kilda's offer by laying out a 'post football plan'. This includes being mentored into the financial world by Chris Judd, who currently manages TDK's financial affairs.
• St Kilda have not formally made an offer. Any offer must first be submitted to the AFL for review and this has not yet happened.
• He loves the club and his teammates. His best mates are at the club. There is still a huge buy in led by Captain Courageous Crippa.

Lloyd gone as Head of Football as many know already. JBartel in pole position but not totally over the line just yet.

Folks, hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I’ve got another unfortunate #Bluemour to share.

This comes from the same source who correctly flagged a few weeks back that Charlie was open to a move — and that info turned out to be spot on (regardless of his post match comments about wanting to stay - Ala Houston etc).

I can now confirm two things:

• SOS is definitely gone, and
• Cripps also wants out. He’s looking to finish his career in WA and doesn’t seem fussed about which club takes him — though West Coast looks like the obvious frontrunner.

Personally think he’s earned the right to go with our blessing at this point.

Given the source’s track record and recent form, I’m confident this Cripps part is legit. Expect it to go public in the coming weeks.
