Squiggle tips Demons at 77% chance -- What's your tip? -- Team line-ups »
Levi & Murph have agreed to terms for 1 year deals for 2021. Unless something has dramatically changed in last 24 hours they’ll be in Blue next season.
Eddie - nothing definitive as of this evening - this will change in coming days with certainty prior to Saturday. Don’t read anything into his family being in the hub.
Don’t read too much into Gibbs being chaired off, club ok with it, with a few a bit uncomfortable.
Fair distance between what Saad wants (5 years, 600+) and what Bombers have offered (~4years, ~450)
Feels more like managerial posturing than genuine desire to move. That said, if the gap doesn't close, we are genuinely interested.
Very progressed with Williams. As stated before, he will defs leave. He would be more than happy to join us but our offer is not and will not be the biggest. Small management firm pushing for highest offer as its better for them. If he chooses us, we know we've got a player that really wants success.
Approach has been made to Jack Graham on the mooted 4 year deal. He's had a heap of enquiries made about him. Doesn't have a desire to leave, but might be a mutual parting of ways if its best for both parties.
Smith from the hawks has been spoken to and about. Potential cheapish UFA pick up that has ~2-3 years of best 22 footy. More of a backup/late move depending on moving parts.
Doubts on Austin won't last long. Very very professional and incredibly thorough. Only thing left to find out is his ability not to blink on the big stage. Sos reportedly hasn't blinked since a balloon burst at his 3rd birthday party, although I haven't been able to confirm this from any of the attendees.
Wouldn’t expect any of our younger players to leave unless we wanted them out.
A lot of contracts all but done. Just waiting on final cap and list sizes. After that expect them to roll in thick and fast.
Saad very likely to leave Essendon. Decision wont be made until the seasons end
We are interested as are a few other Vic clubs
Witherden, williams the other 2 we are heavily keen on
Saad Does NOT want to go to Melbourne or North.
Stay or us.

Rumour FWIW - Rory Atkins leaving ADE. Has already selected a Vic club. It’s apparently us due to Gov and Eddie connection. Not the worst.
Have it on good authority it's a done deal to Carlton
#BluemourVery confident on Williams. Part of our pitch was him playing midfield minutes and that was something he was really excited about.
Few other notes: Mckay isn't going anywhere, might sign an extension over the off season. Simmo wasn't pushed either, had an open conversation with the coaches and list management team. Think he's mostly frustrated because he really wanted to get into coaching and that will be difficult with the soft cap cuts.
To add to this, the soft cap stuff is also a reason as to why eddie was given an extra year. He was always told that 2021 he will either have a list spot or coaching spot. Has been huge for our indigenous players and also a number of the younger players in the team.
Re: Williams
750 x 5 years
Not 1M
Saad
Club enquired and should have an answer in a week or so. Confident we can get a deal done
Saints with a higher offer for Saad however
JSOS wants out. Saad is gettable trade wise if he choses us, but probably going to another club at this stage.
Also moore will probably get delisted but will depend on formalized list sizes and what we bring in in terms of draft picks/players.
Also not sure where the huge figures of player payments are coming from. McGovern is obviously on nowhere near 800k over his contract life and Williams is nowhere near $1mill even on a front loaded contract for a single year.
Had a few clubs inquiry about Kennedy
