Our sole focus is on the draft.

Right or wrong (I'm personally in the wrong camp) that's the direction they want to head.

Clearly as everyone knows we would take Houston for the right price.

Club happy where they are so far but still alot that can play out
We are not sitting idle
Voss wants Houston but Austin/Lloyd has said at right price but is more unlikely than likely
No one really knows what will happen now but we are open to anything to improve our options and list NOW. Busiest trade period in years. Lots of swaps, trades will happen in next few days
Austin is speaking with everyone and happy to discuss anything. Wants minimum 2 picks in draft Top 20
We believe there will also be very good players available after trade period. A number of good players will be squeezed off lists
Kennedy some interest but it will be late. Owies the same. Young nothing

Blues and Eagles have agreed on Pick 12 & 14 for 3, 63,68 and a mid range pick that eagles will get in as part of player movement to cover F&S points. Expect announcement Tuesday.

Draft Target is currently Lalor over O’Sullivan but is close and strong debate internally - either way club extremely happy !

Believe 1 of those 2 players will go pick #1#1.

Lloyd wont be at club at end of 2025. Both parties agree time for change in that role.
Timing with wright being managed.

Rob Inness has reviewed Blues fitness program from last year - significant change coming in both weights room and core strength work …….. Players fit but bodies not match hard and some key list indicators well off Swans levels as a collective !

This is fantasy land stuff. Not happening. Three live options still being considered (none of them involve Moir)

1. Turn 12 and 14 into 3 and some extra Campo points
2. Take 12 and 14 to the draft
3. Trade 12 for Houston and take 14 to the draft (if Pies / Suns / Power falls over)

I rate the likelihood in that order.

Carlton will be asking the question of Petracca to the demons. Trac still wants to get to us and dees said they will not deal him under circumstances unless it involves a top 3 pick. Austin knows that if the draft is our number 1 priority that two top 15 picks is better then one top 3 pick in a super draft. This is a play to get Petracca. This will be extremely behind the scenes and media won’t catch onto it until late tomorrow or even after the deal happens. 3 and cerra is our offer

If it falls through we will try and get a lot off Adelaide to slide up to 3 from 4 and take Draper over us we will bluff them into Thinking we are taking him.

He hasn't let it fester. He's immediately knocked back the offer. Also, knowing SOS, he is probably using Kemp as a smoke screen to put pressure on other trades.
Can't see a way that Saints are actually serious about securing Kemp, at least this year, knowing full well, according to SOS' own rules, if you go after a contracted player, you gotta pay up.

Had a chat to most:

Voss-
Excited by the talent we get at pick 3, we will get a good one no matter who is there, not concerned about a ‘go home factor’ if we took Draper, said the good ones tend not to go home too much if they are at a big club and we will get well compensated if that were to occur. He was talking in specific response to my question regarding Draper and didn’t offer a great deal outside of that.

I also asked if Saad could move to a new role or could play elsewhere…. He said “ no he can’t run”, I specifically asked if he could go to half forward or wing and he said no he doesn’t have the running capacity to do either of those roles.

Barret-
Is of the opinion that we will take FOS, did not say why or how he came to this opinion, I asked him straight up & to give me 1 name and that was his answer, stating “I think they are very keen on him”

Buckley-
Tried to get a sneaky head nod or wink out of him regarding coaching Tassie, he was jovial but wouldn’t say too much about it other than ‘I shouldn’t be betting on that right now’, also thinks Blues may take FOS but pointed me over to Vossy to try and get info out of him.

They were all at the same table throughout the day, just thought I would share but interesting that FOS was offered up by 2 of them in separate conversations.

Roo's have tried to find a way to trade down so they can not take a midfielder, but haven't been able to find a trade and are to afraid of another McCartin over Petracca situation.

Personally I don't mind which of the top 4 we get, they are all jets.
Jagga seems to of developed more critics for not getting injured and having an amazing body of work than they others have for being injured.

Its like the old family guy skit. "The boats a boat, but the mystery box could be anything, it could even be a boat!"

I haven't been yet but feedback from trainer we know well. Innes has made drastic changes to fitness requirements. Most of list lacked in strength and power ratings (whatever that means?)

Players all on different programs, eating habits etc. Every player was virtually told throw out what you have been told before and listen to me now.

Every player was fully assessed only days after GF and given programs. Reviews were very "honest" Standards are very very high

PS Cerra for first time is feeling no pain or discomfort and flying. Happy man
