Great news all round. There's been a lot of negatives about how our club handles community events in the past so it's very pleasing to hear how well we were received in Benalla.

Great to see the club and especially the players doing the right thing by their country fans ...there was an article in the Launceston paper today regarding an alderman sending a letter to Jeff Kennett regarding his dissapointment at the conduct and lack of time and energy devoted to a similar camp here in a country town in Northern Tassie.
He pointed out that a lot of kids had been bussed in from 100's of kilometres away only to be let down by the apathy of the Hawks players and officials..the camp was advertised to last for 2 hours with the players ..and only went a little over an hour ..(apparently the Hawks players were too busy at a local bakery during the time the camp was supposed to be running .

So it's great to hear our club is doing the right thing by their devoted fans ...kudos to Juddy for paying attention to the kid who idolized him .

Rapt to hear our club was well represented, that is so important, to read above about Hawthorn, those off field things mean heaps, particularily to kids and familiies....good stuff and thanks Mr Freak for the post, that is really appreciated here by the Carlton folk, maybe you could change allegiance?

Blues at Thoona PS

Rob Warnock, Kade Simpson, Andrew Carrazzo and Simon White were amongst the players who fielded a series of questions from attentive kids at Thoona Primary on anything and everything from what they eat to how much they train, to whether they actually barrack for Carlton and the old perennial - “How much do you get paid?”.

That proved the least of big Rob’s worries, given that the Carlton ruckman had to duck beneath the school’s advertising hording to actually enter the premises.

good bunch of guys, they seem to enjoy taking my side for training. All very approchable and don't mind mingling and posing for photos and autographs. Duigan and Judd both come accross as smart people. Eddie enjoyed taking us through drills and seemed to get a kick out of it all. All good fun.
