Carlton are favourites for the West Coast game. Unbelievable considering we are 1-10. No Gardiner or Wilson for the Eagles will make our job easier. And we have dropped another player who is not interesting in trying too hard with Davies coming back in for Justin Murphy.

If we don't win this, we won't win anything.

Yeah its good...every time we have travelled everybody says this will be the week we break the hoodoo and it never happens. This time nobody thinks we will win so maybe we will come back with the 4 points.

Its funny though, if Carlton were travelling here we would be overwhelming favourites but flip the script and the Eagles sitting 6th on the ladder cant even be labelled favourites against last placed Carlton. Sad for us Eagles fans...but i still think we can win.

The excuses have started rolling in already.

Over here in the capital of The Excitement State (yes, it says that on the WA number plates- Victoria is the place to be or the garden state...) the excuses have started rolling in for the Weagles.

Their flight was cancelled, so they missed out on a training session at Optus.

Plus other people got the window seats, Jako lost his minties and the airplane's drink cart was out of that spicy tomato juice that Woosha likes.

:)

That's right, no wooden spoon for us!
Look we have 10 weeks left for Elliott to lean on the AFL to have last place recognised as a fine achievement to applauded by all and sundry. The idea is that the team that wins the least games and kicks the least goals wins the competition because in 2002, the earth spins unusually on its axis and down is up and vice versa. It can be Jack's last act as president to top it off!:D

Can't be any more fanciful than this nightmare season would have seemed at the start of the year.
