Seven News said they have been found guilty of one count of player payment irregularities and further charges still being investigated

Penalty either loss of their draft picks or premiership point penalties

Are you sure Wicket?

This doesn't look too genuine. Channel 7 believed that Carlton had been found guilty, but the investigation is still running. They later said that if Carlton was found guilty, its first two draft picks would be at risk.

Very contradictory, don't you think? I thought we were found guilty? And then they say that IF we were found guilty, there will be a danger of losing our draft picks?

No, I won't believe anything until the AFL themselves announces this officially. Either way, Elliot is gawn.

You must be hearing things, or trying to hear things to suit yourself

FOUND GUILTY ON ONE CHARGE, investigations into OTHER charges continuing

Probably both. But I'll be waiting for the official AFL announcement thanks! Then there's a chance I might drown my sorrows down...

I cant believe that most Carlton supporters a clinging to the hope that the AFL will not find them guilty of salary cap breaches.

When was the last time it was made public that a club was under investigation and then not found guilty?

The only questions are by how much are they over and how bad the punishment

No doubt we will be found guilty. But given that Demetriou is out of the country it's unlikely to be official yet. Hopefully we can keep the top two picks, but will have to wait and see,

Looks like Carlton will lose their draft picks.

Looks like StKilda and North and for that matter all clubs will benefit from by going up two draft selections.

Why would Richmond (thanks for Wells) or anyone else now complain if Carlton lost their draft picks, they are all going to be 2 selections better in the first round.

Why would other clubs complain? Because there are meant to be two standouts in this year's draft, then a slight gap to third, and Richmond, thinking it could not get the big three, traded its first pick. Because Collingwood traded what it thought was pick 16 and so on ... Supreme Court here we come.

No.
Because the second pick in the draft is too much of a leg up for the roos.

All clubs are **** scared of us dominating again. ;)

The clubs won't take it to court if they found them guilty. AFL clubs are bound by joint agreements that invest the AFL with great power over the clubs.

In order for the legal action to have any credence all clubs would have to launch a course of action. Do you really think St. Kilda and Richmond would forego the opportunity to draft Wells and Goddard? LOL

Carlton are fcuked. Karma..

And your point is?, all clubs knew before the draft that their was the possibility that draft picks could change because of it.

So what you are saying is that Collingwood would go to the supreme court because it would now have pick 14 and not pick 16. :D Yeah right.
