Brown - Gone
Hamill - Gone
Porter - Gone
Allan - Going ...
Bradley - Finished?
Silvagni - Finished?

The rats are deserting the sinking ship.

* Parkin to Freo (most likely), otherwise Hawthorn or Sydney maybe even St. Kilda
* Brown sacked
* Hamill to Sydney for O'Connor & Kirk
* Allan to Collingwood for Rocca + draft pick
* Porter to St. Kilda in pre-season draft
* Silvagni will struggle to play again

The best in the business? Not bloody likely.

Damn Shame! aint it.

North seem to be similar.

Abraham - Going
Bell - Gone
McKernan - Going?
Hewitt - Gone
Carey - had it
Stevens - past his best
Archer - past his best

Just a damn shame!!!!!!

In your dreams about North..they can have the
traitor Bell..who has won the North B&F but will never ever be awarded it..McKernan aint going nowhere, Stevens and Archer will be back better than ever in 2001, and where is the surprise about Hewitt..he was trade bait from the start.
And I wouldnt be carried away with media hype about Carlton..when did they last lose star players, you reckon the criminal Elliott is going to let them just walk away without cooking the salary cap books or getting something better in return.. I dont think so.
You may be right about Bradley and Silvagni.

Are these all confirmed trades, or are they trades that are very likely to happen.
Could you please let me know ASAP because i want to update my web-site with all the latest trade action.

For all your footballing needs be sure to visit my AFL web-site at http://www.geocities.com/eastsydney5/index.html

Nothing is never confirmed this early.

But Hamill is 99.5% gone to the Swans (according to 7 news), AFL.com.au/7/10 is reporting the Allan deal (50/50 there I reckon still), Porter is definately gone according to 3AW and Backwell is 110% gone to Brisbane.

Just up to Carlton to fit the players they want with the jigsaw puzzle.

But I guess one (Allan or Porter) of them may turn into the 2000 version of Wayne Campbell last year.

Bradshaw/Michael/Massie/Backwell and others are all being thrown around between Brisbane, Carlton & Collingwood.

7 news in Melbourne tonight said that Hamill had walked out of Carlton and had agreed to a big $$$$$$$ deal with the Swans.

According to 7 & 3AW Allan is supposed to be going to Collingwood for Anthony Rocca and a draft pick

And Porter wants more money - but if Allan goes he will stay at Carlton I reckon.

Few more to add to your list -

'The Seagull' White to Geelong for Steinfort
Merenda to WCE for late draft pick
Daffy to Collingwood
Metropolis to Dockers for Harding
Ro Kingsley to Geelong for draft pick

Another rumour in a realfooty article is that Mal Michael will not be exchanged during the trading period and will be picked up by St Kilda in the pre-season draft.

That is one rumour I like.

sainter,
I think Michael is a good bloke and will do your club some good. He is about like our Leon Cameron

except Leon's better!(sorry!)

Mal wants a mill to pay, I didn't think that Collingwood combined would be worth that much.

As you have all been told. We are Carlton. We never lose good players, so you can just forget all about it.

What is the world coming to ? Carlton and North losing players and Freo, St Kilda lapping them up ?

On carlton, according to the players' manager, carlton played a little hardball by refusing to talk contracts until the trading period is over - which impairs the (uncontracted) players options to be traded to where they would like - eg carlton are saying 'sign with us or go into the draft'
So much fo Carlton looking after their own.

The true story may be that carlton has salary cap problems and if one of the mentioned players were to go, the other's demands could be accommodated. So which one will it be ?
