This is what I will pray for:

-Whitnall to play out of the goal square and take 13 marks, 4 of them contested and kick six goals. He is so due for a good game (it has only been like three years since the last, Wizard Cup excluded)

-Waite to continue his form from last week and kick another 5

-A carlton player to get over thirty possesions (this has become such a rarity, I just want a player to dominate)

-Thornton to hold Richo to less than two goals

-Eddie Betts to fire up and kick three-four amazing goals with one of them being goal of the year

REMEMBER THIS IS WHAT I PRAY FOR, I WILL BE A HAPPY MAN THE DAY MY PROPHECY COMES TRUE!!!

How big do you blokes reckon the crowd will be? Should be a big one with both sides coming of come from behind wins.

As others have said no Fevola is a massive boost for us. Still not overly confident of getting the win.

45k. Just like the Hawthorn/Carlton game, both clubs(and supporters) will believe they can win and will try to out-support one-another. It's gonna be a blockbuster!

Yeh would think the crowd would be in the mid-high 50's

Ok, this is the Carlton board so I can have an opinion. Richmond will play ahead of the ball, expecting someone to do the work for them. Carlton by 35

Pigs arse?

Hey Blues fans.

Just want to say goodluck for this weekend. Looking forward to the match. Have a bit of a soft spot for the Blues and dissapointed that Fevgot rubbed out for a few. Anyways both teams are coming of good wins and it should be a cracker of a match.

Interesting to see Wallace building this up by saying that Carlton are Richmond's biggest rivals even if Richmond are not Carlton's biggest rivals. Does that give the Tigers the edge in intensity heading into the match? The current crop of Carlton players have all been lifting for the Bombers and Pies for years but the Tigers don't have a great record even during our lean period. We need some ex-players around the place this week to motivate the guys and give some lessons on Blues-Tigers relationships circa 1970's.

Good idea actually, get some of the old warriors in and pump up the guys that know nothing about Richmond and Carlton's old battles.

I think we will lift though, should be a big crowd around 50-60 thousand you would hope and a MUST win game.
