@ CAS.. literature is enjoyed too little by some people, especially period literature because the language is a little intimidating at times. But there's a reason teachers push to study this in favour of contemporary literature. It's shit how the option of cutting down period content within the HSC General syllabus in favour of simpler, more contemporary texts is being considered - a 'dumbing down' if I ever saw one.

Off to North Ballarat at lunchtime to watch the little bro play footy and then back home to watch the swans.

I miss suburban footy days. You could just rock up to any local oval and there would be a game of football on.

I imagine Saturdays up here in Sydney when it comes to subbies rugby are very similar to what Melbourne has with footy. Get to watch rugby and play and it is just the best time hanging with mates and watching rugby all day.

Love watching the old boys getting pissed on cheap tinnies on the sidelines as the day wears on too. Seeing them getting progressively more sun-burnt and pissed as the day wears on is brilliant.
