this thread title annoys me, of all the threads to name with the great Bob Skilton,?? I picture him as an old man with alzheimers by this thread title. how bout s little respect??? lol

Thats true Cas, i like it as you can have a lunch and have a drink until 2 then no more until the final siren. Most clubs in the ammo's are great after the game to opposition players and the umps.

I know, I spent time around the ammos's until I moved North. It can be a great association, stepping into the North things were a bit different but I'm learning a bit about my local league and f me there's a lot of money being thrown around and not all of it cleverly. at the bottom end there are some real rag tag clubs, no supporters hardly a player and you wonder how they are still there.

I've taken a soft spot to one of these, spent the first half giving the umpires an ear full on their behalf as their three or four supporters are to resigned to getting a belting to do it themselves.

GWS are looking at some Port players.. Valenti, Batsanis and Im sure others.. Lynch, Rose we could have had them already
