A rough year for Bobby. Will he be wanting a change? Do the Pies want to hang onto him?
What's next for Bobby Hill?

Borderline impossible to value but I hope he gets what he needs to turn it all around. For both his sake, and footy's

I think we've burnt enough on these deals that they would be very very careful before handing over a 1stDockers first rounder would be about it. I think Fremantle would do a overpay to get it done
Current circumstances a second would be fair.I think we've burnt enough on these deals that they would be very very.careful before handing over a 1st

Forgot it’s actually pick 11. I can see you splitting of pick 11 plus change for say 19 and 20 for Eagles and giving them 19I think we've burnt enough on these deals that they would be very very.careful before handing over a 1st
They need a small forward desperately .I thought that guy was trolling about handing over a first.
Even if you take away the compassionate bit, I just don’t see the value in Freo giving up much for him. Other areas I’d be investing in before a player like Hill.
I feel like a second would be overs unless it’s right at the end of the round. An early third seems about right just based on pure footy ability and not taking into account the compassionate side.
More thinking Collingwood won’t have a choice here.Better off not to trade him would be selling low
Haha, you definitely are on the "overated coz Pies" side. I'd have thought a top 20 pick is fair on talent. He's a pretty good small forward and the Pies have really missed him. Risk factor would put him anywhere between pick 20 and 60 for mine without knowing all the details.I thought that guy was trolling about handing over a first.

If he is seen as a risk, then Freo won’t trade for him at allHaha, you definitely are on the "overated coz Pies" side. I'd have thought a top 20 pick is fair on talent. Getting Hill lets us move Reid up the ground and not lose anything though if there was some gun HBF magically available, it would be my first preference for Freo.

There's a point they bite though, same with WC. Really hard to speculate while being considerate but he may literally have to be in WA to continue his career. At a point the risk is only whatever salary he's on for the rest of his contractIf he is seen as a risk, then Freo won’t trade for him at all
I’d rule that out as a issue as if he has issues he will stay at Collingwood

I am with you on the "rated higher than actual output" train but I still think top 20 would be the general consensus if there were no other issues. He hasn’t kicked more than 25 odd goals in a season, playing deep into finals in a good team which gets plenty of supply.
Cameron at his peak was kicking almost 60.
Are you aware of any of the story around him, this goes beyond "signed a contract, who cares"They have plenty of choice he signed less than 12 months ago.

his value is definitely inflated due to the fact his career game was in a grand final.I am with you on the "rated higher than actual output" train but I still think top 20 would be the general consensus if there were no other issues.

Nah, footy clubs arent like that. I see it as no different to Freo kicking Hogan back over East. Sometimes the clubs just take the hit for the good of the personI do but frankly if thats the situation he will retire and go back to WA.
Collingwood aren't trading him for a r3 so a rival can have him.
They will get the return they want or he will stay and knuckle down or retire (his choice).
