I have let my teammates down: Despotovski

SYDNEY
PERTH Glory's Bobby Despotovski felt he had let down his teammates after being sent off in yesterday's defeat against Parramatta Power.
But the star striker, who played a deeper role than usual in the 4-2 loss at Parramatta Stadium, did not believe his absence would hamper the team's bid to win successive championships.
"Of course we can still do it," he said of the Glory's task in the second leg match at Members Equity Stadium on Saturday.
"We have shown before that we can score against them. We scored four the last time we played them in Perth."
Despotovski felt he had been unfortunate to be booked in the first half after getting in the way of a Power free kick. But he conceded he had impeded Ante Milicic to earn the second yellow and its accompanying red card.
"It's very disappointing that I let the boys down and the club," Despotovski said.
"It's disappointing that we scored two goals and had them on the back foot when I was sent off.
"I think if I'd stayed on the park it would've been different."
The Glory ace, who finished off a great move just after half-time, said he had not been adversely affected by the three-match wait for his 100th Glory goal.
"I wasn't even thinking about it," he said.
"When I scored I was just happy that we had an away goal."
Despotovski will serve a one-match ban before being available for the Glory's next match, which, if it is victorious in its two-match series against the Power, will be a grand final. If it fails, it will play a preliminary match to earn the right to take on Parramatta in the grand final.
No **** you let down the team Bobby. And the Millions and Millions of fans. How about an expanation on WHY u decided to go out there and carry on like a ****ing
Especially after all the great **** u did.
