The Big Spoon leader board wasn't as close heading after round 14, with DemonJim holding a sizeable lead over SSSSSS while the only Ophidian within cooee (nobody says that anymore, have you noticed?) with two games remaining was Fleabane.
Here's how the top ten eventuated in the Big'un.
A bunch of people finished in equal ninth place on 21 frees against - cats2rise crazywildhorse Crimson Azure Frothies Mcveigh (winner in season 37) HinkleysHeroes Orange crush and Roonescape.
In eighth place on 22 frees is another former winner in Loonerty.
One kick ahead in equal sixth place are beez and Phar Ace.
A couple of people hit the moral podium with 24 frees against, HARPSichord and Fleabane who was too far back to make up the gap to the leaders.
Ulahoopski from the Royals took out third place with 25 frees.
The threat of sharpening up their elbows wasn't enough for SSSSSS who is this season's Big Spoon runner up on 26 frees, which means that with a five kick advantage the Big Spoon winner for season 40 is the Bob Log III of Sweet, Mount Buller's DemonJim! Kudos Jum, here's your miniature novelty trophy.
And here's the final Big Spoon leaderboard:
I shall now provide the customary end of season summaries...
