To be fair to Crow-mo, you can't accuse him of being revisionist here. Crow-mo has been very consistent, over a long period of time, when it comes to his views on Bock. His opinions were formed long before Bock's defection and have not been framed with that in mind.
FWIW, I think that Bock is more than just a creative player - I think he also did a good job of negating the effectiveness of his opponent. Maybe not as good a job as some on here would have you believe, but better than Crow-mo thinks he was/is.
that's very possible.
my reasons on his defensive failings is how little of it he actually used to do. perhaps he is subtly better at it, as I presume that he did more of it early on and maybe I've forgotten how he went back in the early days before he became a creative type.
he is certainly not a "good" defensive player, but its not a big stretch think he could be better than I give him credit for if forced to play that role.
