* Identified as 29 year old Danielle Easey

Serial killer, organised crime or gang activity maybe. The police don't generally raise a taskforce over one body.

A body has been found wrapped in plastic and floating in a creek near Newcastle.
Members of the public made the grisly discovery at 10.30am yesterday while driving past Cockle Creek on Wakefield Road in Killingworth.
Police removed the body from the water and its identity remains unknown.
A crime scene was established at the creek and emergency services remain at the scene.
Strike Force Furzer has been established as officers from Lake Macquarie Police District and the State Crime Command's Homicide Squad investigate the circumstances surrounding the discovery.

29 years old, never reported as missing, believed to have been dumped a long time ago - per ABC.

Sounds like a fair amount of decomposition, I assume that she was dumped with her ID if they've identified her this quickly.

Sounds like she had a bit of trouble with the law. She was due to face court for a breach of bond and warrants out for some other offences

Went missing a few weeks ago and surprise surprise, drugs involved.

Cause of death was a beating and stabbed, such a crappy way to die.

  • A 33-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman were arrested in connection with the murder of Danielle Easey
  • Ms Easey's body was found wrapped in plastic in Cockle Creek in Killingworth on the Central Coast
  • A car has been seized and a business in Cardiff is also being searched
