To an extent but I have alot of friends I would consider bogan who are most certainly not lower class. I consider them bogan on the basis that they watch crap on TV like Australian idol etc.

I wouldn't say it's 'unsophisticated', it just a decisive indication of appalling taste. It's also a 'chick' show, so if a man enjoys it, then its even worse. Same reason why a man should never admit to enjoying romantic comedies, it's a serious violation of man-law

My definition of both terms is probably quite distorted and different to the general consensus (Shane Warne fits both categories, as do most football players)
