Lemme see...i disagree with his belief that international treaties are worthless because they weaken a nation's self interest. I think a UN ambassador that believes that "there is no United Nations" is an abomination. I blame him for derailing a 2001 UN bio-weapons conference that called for spot checks of defense installations, despite America's claim that they haven't done any offensive bio-weapons research since 1969......actually, why the ******** am I even responding to you?

Why do you like Bolton, other than because that moron in the Whitehouse picked him from the short list of arseclowns that make himself look slightly less ignorant?

Oh, and BTW - those "Democratic jackasses" are the democratically elected representatives of the people, voting their consciences and *actually defending the democracy that Bush has been poisoning*. The US political process has rarely seemed so robust and worthwhile as it did for those mid-term elections.

I also note many Republicans criticized Bolton heavily and denied him confirmation *prior* to the current sitting. There is a reason he only received a recess appointment, you dolt.

Is not the principal attribute in a diplomat the ability to be diplomatic? Bolton's idea of diplomacy is to say: "******** Off we don't care what you think because we are Americans!" - fails the job description

Expect absolutely nothing to happen to Iran while they continue to build Nuclear Weapons.

Nothing was happening before, but at least Bolton was pushing the UN for some action to be taken. Hopefully his replacement will be just as passionate that can get things done.

Yeah, Bolton's the guy you want on nuclear proliferation talks. The way he was booted from the six party Nth Korean talks for pointlessly insulting the nation they were trying to influence was awesome.

Actually we are encouraging the President, through local GOP chapters, to pick a nominee for the post that will be more antagonistic and ruthless toward the United Nations; we want the U.N. worst critic... two can certainly play at this game... if the cowardly Dems don't want to submit the honorable name of John Bolton for a full vote then their next nominee will be of the Bolton fold but leagues more hostile... we can only hope the Dems choke on their own vomit of inaction...

The President spoke with Bolton last evening and there are other positions, not requiring petty Congress overview, that Mr. Bolton can be appointed to. Good and well for a fine gentleman.

What the Democrats did to John Bolton will stick in my craw for a long time... I will not forget that the cowardly democrats denied Ambassor Bolton a full vote and forced him to resign... It is a loss for our nation I will blame democrats for and hold them responsible.
