Yeh but is there any midfielders available that can do that, we signed mcveigh so sheeds must have some plans for him in the midfield next year.
And i think Laycock can fill the gap at CHF next year.

We'll give you a champion full back who has 48 games of senior experience and is rated highly by Kevin Sheedy. His name is Aaron Henneman and he's a gun.

Well what about Essendon getting involved with the Cats and Richmond.
Geelong - Ottens and a 3rd round pick or a fringe player
Tigers - 2 first round picks and spriggs
Bombers - Wojinski

Practically sold me already..who is the fringe player we're sending to Sleepy Hollow though? Bullen?

I don't think you could describe Henno as a fringe player. Henno is surplus to requirements.

It could be Sam Hunt, but, then the trade wouldn't get up.

Probably wouldn't be Bolton either as he is now in that regular senior player category.

So it would have to be someone like Bullen or a Reynolds or one of the kids like Winderlich or Walsh.

Its going to make hardly any difference who it is, Geelong ae doing the deal for Ottens, not a fringe player from Essendon. They'd probably take Sam Hunt.

Yeah maybe Walsh but should give up our 3rd round pick

Re: Trading

hi,
i know this may not be the place to ask about it. But I have a concern about one of the young players at the Bendigo Bombers and I heard a rumor.
Is it true that Mungara Brown (kid on the Michael Long Scholarship) is going to play for Essendon next season or at least get drafted on the rookie list? If anyone can tell me I will be rapt thanks fellas.

Mungara struggled a bit this year.
Played two games at Bendigo and gave it a real crack but didn't get a lot of game time.

I think his size is a bit of a worry, but on form I doubt he will be drafted.

Yep agreed.

Mungara won 2 morrish medels which seems to be more a curse than a positive.Adam Smith, Kurt hazelwood, david rodan, gary moorcroft are but a few who also have won the award. Apart from Lenny Hayes there arent many champions from the winners list.

Lack of size and leg speed will hold him back when your small it doesnt help if you're not quick. Id say he is a VFL player at best if not a city or country league level footballer.

Re: Trading

Who does everyone think we will pick up with our first pick, #14?
Goalden Hawk on FootyDraft.com has us picking up Ben Eckerman from Sturt, SA. Sounds really impressive, won the SA best player during the carnival ahead of several higher regarded players and is very much a bottom age draftee (turns 18 in march next year). I would not be disappointed at all if we picked him up. His profile is here: http://www.footydraft.com/players.php?player=ben_eckerman
