A postman is walking his round and comes up to the gate of one of appointed delivery houses. In the front yard a little Jack Russell dog is jumping up and down and doing back flips and somersaults - the postie is transfixed. Anyway the postie opens the gate and heads the front door - the dog is unpreturbed and keeps on going. A grannie opens the door and he gives her the mail and says "what's with your dog?" -
Grannie: Oh, Collingwood won on the weekend, he'll do that all week...
Postie: pauses and thinks... "what does he do when they win Premierships?"
Grannie: Don't know. I've only had him for 10 years...
This was obviously a lot funnier when it was 32 years but hey - 10's still getting up there hey Jubber?

It was also a lot funnier the day after the granny last year when I was holding the cup in my hand thinking of all those Essendon losers at home crying and telling each other how they were the best team.
