might be, someone on there suggested that because it's hosted in Australia there might be problems, compared to bigfooty which is run through American servers

Failure of corporate governance that the site has been allowed to crash.
Failure of oversight on behalf of the techies.
It definitely is just not a good look that this has happened under their watch.
Heads must roll for this. Anything less and we are setting a disturbing example.
I can also exclusively reveal that several people have quietly expressed their fury at this.
