Bombers won't make Grand Final

On the AFL footy site, there's a story about Peter Everitt & Leon Cameron both saying that the Bombers won't make it.

Who the F@#& are they to make comments like that, Everitt's in the cellar dwellers & when was the last time the tigers won a GF.

Christ is everyone against us, they're all just jealous.

fear not- its just the sort of thing sheeds uses to fire the boys up.(init shins?)

I notice also it comes from players whose teams were totally demoralized by essendon in massive blowouts. (80 odd and 100+) plus spider got injured and had his season screwed up while playing us.

anyway-its better than everyone pumping us up to win all the time.

No Arch. It's not funny. Can't somebody please tell Everitt and Cameron to just shut the f*** up. To top it all off, Geoff Blethyn said in an interview in today's Herald-Sun that the Roos as Essendon's danger team.

Anyway, there's now no way that North will win the flag after Calthorpe's training mishap last night. As we all know, No Calthorpe, No North.

To make the Grand Final, Essendon will have to beat North in the Preliminary Final as 1 play 3 and 2 play 4.

One thing that we know is that North don't choke in finals like others, who will remain nameless.

After being held scoreless in the first quarter against the Bombers earlier in the year, North will be out for revenge, and it may be a bit harder for Essendon this time.

Having said that, I hope Essendon do win it, (If Geelong don't) because, I'd hate to see Michael Mansfield or Leigh Colbert win a premierhip. I'd love to see John Barnes win one, he deserves it more than anyone, apart from Garry Hocking.

Comments like that should just be taken as a challenge for the team to perform better. Few things motivate better than someone telling you you're no good.

At this point, I think the best thing that could happen to Essendon would be for people to start writing them off. Being a prohibitive favourite is a dangerous, dangerous thing.

We All Know That Carlton would have beaten the bombers, with Allan, Murphy, Kouta, Bradley and all their other brilliant players in so even If the Bombers do make the GF Carlton will whip their butts!!!!

Oh yes, I can just see the entire footy world queing up to write Essendon off. Why are Essendon fans so hypersensitive to criticism?

Do Essendon players have such poor self-esteem that they need silly comments from a couple of players to help motivate them? They are favourites and have to deal with it, as they have done all season.
