The moment when it dawns on you that winning AA honours is actually a pact with the devil that requires you to wear grandads old school blazer in public.

Also interesting tidbit: In what was considered at the time the 2012 superdraft, 7 years later there have only been 5 All Australians from that class: Brodie Grundy (Pick 18), Joe Daniher (F/S),Lachie Whitfield (Pick 1) and two Bulldogs

Jake Stringer (Pick 5)
Jack Macrae (Pick 6)

Hawkins had great service in the best placed team. BBB had poor service in a rubbish team, kicked more goals.
You're overrating Geelong's service. I'd rather Higgins and Polec kicking me the ball than Kelly and Dahl.

Besides service is irrelevant, Collingwood mids shouldnt be considered if it were.

Nope, he's a player always striving to get better. David King (Jack's coach at Carey) on 360 spoke very highly of his motivation and want to always be better.
We have to get his brother onboard when he is draft eligible. Shows promise as well !!

Houli , v good player and must have had an outstanding year , but our number 9 is now a genuine A grader.

In a boost for equalisation only four of the final twenty two come from sides not participating in the
magnificent finals series. In a further boost for equalisation only ten of the initial squad of forty
were from non finals sides. In a further boost for equalisation the top five sides had a staggering
twenty five of the initial forty man squad over 50%.

It's almost as if they're rewarding excellence.
