Bumped Boo a Roo - Marketing Campaign for Swans vs Roos Rd 3 SCG

I have just read the Sydney hearld - Sun this morning and it seems that the negative attitude of the Sydney Swans Football Club and supporter is going to continue.

The basis of the article is the roos have given up home status and have been given $170,000. They are trying to attracted people to go tot he game before they taken most swans supporters won't show up because its a North home game

Any north fans going into the game in Round 3 expect anothet tough time

What a way to promote a game of football, if this is what it takes to get Sydney people to the game then the game up there is in trouble.l think Greg Miller should tell them to stick Sydney right up their arse.

l agree with you JUB JUB the Sydney people don't want us, the Sydney administrators don't want us there. Thats why l'm saying to Greg Miller to tell them to stick it.If Syd people need a campaign like this to get them to go and see THEIR team at THEIR home ground then as l said the game up there is in trouble.

They should send a rule book and a breakdown of how the game is played to their members.

Anyone is welcome to 'boo a saint' and pay us to $170,000 too. Sadly most people feel sorry for us too much than feel the need to boo us. We would just need to let some of our more colourful supporters loose and they would soon dislike us.

Seriously, I can't believe how bitter the Sydney Swans administration really are. It is one thing for supporters to jeer the opposition but to be actively encouraged by their administration through a marketing campaign seems a little strange. Even the bulldogs and the lions have tried to put their bickering behind them.
