I'm guessing it is
a) Because of the Steven Baker incident. I don't think I need to go into it further
b) Because he is a tool (not offence, but he is one of the most hated players in the AFL for good reason)
c) Because of his horrific dive early in the game

Hayden I have no idea, he is a gun and I love the bloke. Mistake identity probably, I'm guessing from a distance Hayden looks a bit like Farmer?
 
because Farmer has outdone Lloyd in the diving stakes x 3 times....and because he took a swing at Robert Harvey - who you must understand has never taken a swing at anyone - he is the FAIREST and best at whatever he does - he doesn't need to cheat like that scum Farmer.

P.S. no problem with Haydn
 
Where is this anger coming from?? (didn't see the "swing" at Harvey, if he gave him one fair enough..)

We've lost one of our very best players (equal B&F 2 years ago) for almost an entire season all for Farmer going down behind play. Farmer played the next week.
He is a diver. Full stop. And he is scum. He was scum before that event - and he has confirmed it by his diving (cheat) and attack on Harvey again tonight. He is scum.
 
No anger, especially after I boo and yell you little spineless sniping over-acting piece of crap.

We probably (I don't believe we did) booed Hayden cause Farmer had kicked it to him and we hadn't finished yet. I think that might have happened after he kicked it to one of the blond mop heads.

Surely you can understand why the opposition fans hate Farmer, especially St Kilda fans :confused: This can't be the first time you've noticed he is hated?

I wondered why he is always gesturing to the heavens after a goal rather than thanking his teammates for getting the ball to him.

He should be asking for forgiveness, as he has sinned on many occasions.

Also did anyone see Farmer twice use the chicken wing tackle - that's illegal in rugby league - why should we tolerate scum like Farmer using it on our players?

That was my reaction when somebody came onto our board to complain about Jeff Farmer being booed.

He gets booed every week doesn't he?

It wasn't his fault that Baker was suspended, that was the incompetence of the tribunal. However he's been involved in a number of incidents on and off the field with players from various teams as well as a few incidents away from the footy field that are probably not going to endear him to everybody.

In any case we had a very young team tonight and I'd rather talk about the future direction of our club than Jeff Farmer on our own board.

He's a well paid player and he gets a few boos. Deal with it.
 
A better question would be why not? A dodgy footballer and a very ordinary human being
 
He wouldn't have enjoyed the roar after he fluffed one out on the full - despite the small crowd is was a great sound from the other side of the ground.
 
Farmer makes himself an easy target. He was fighting with Banger when the game was in the balance. In his defence, the TOOL did write a nice letter in defence of Bakes last year.

Let me say this, Freo supporters carry on a bit. At the game the ones I was sitting close to were chanting and barraking like old womem. When your team is 2-10 and your losing and you're a crap team interstate team you just don't carry on like that. It's like they don't know aything about football. I believe in backing your players, no worries, but the way the carry on when they are shit, no wonder. It's like the're supporting mediocrity!!!

Also, when Pavlich gets a goal. He should celebrate a lot less. It's bloddy embarassing. Roo kicked a great goal that put us a couple of goals up and I love the way he celebtraed. But Pavlich does that all the time. Calm down fella. You're 10 goals down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I did notice that wife bashing waste of space trying to break someone's arm in a tackle. What a dirty little scumbag.

He's indicative of Freo's problem... he should have been sacked years ago but they put up with his antics as he kicks a bag every 10 weeks.

Just a nasty little piece of work... & hitting Banger??? I expect that from the wife basher but not from Mark Johnson. Obviously the water in Freo must be poisonous stuff.

C'mon - how's he going to get the umpires to notice him for votes unless he carries on? Couldn't believe after the gift free kick for his first there was plenty of "I'm No 1!!" and "Yeah Pav Yeah!!!".

Saw the chicken wing on the replay - disgraceful and whoever started this thread should apologise for whining.

If you're talking about the same incident then yes I saw this. It occurred near the boundary on the member's wing just around from our seats. Ball was guts down on the ground and F*er was intentionally trying to bend Ball's arm out of it's socket, by pulling his arm right up and behind his back. When Ball could finally get back to his feet and pushed F*er in disgust, F*er had his s* eating smirk on his face. All class :rolleyes:

I agree that we can't blame Farmer for the Baker incident but there's nothing wrong with hating him anyway. He has given everybody countless opportunities to do that over the years.

You're right though, it was your trainer that put Bakes right in it. Although funnily enough the tribunal accepted the view that he had simply stood still and blocked Farmer but still gave him 4 weeks (plus 3 for his bad record) for making unreasonable contact. The thing that really angers our supporters is when match review panel regularly dismiss a report because of "a lack of video evidence". This season Trent West stood his ground and ended up knocking out Xavier Clarke. It was put down to a lack of awareness on X's behalf. Had that incident not been on camera, going on the AFL's logic, he would have received a hefty suspension. It's disgraceful inconsistency. You can bet your bottom dollar that if it wasn't Steven Baker, a player with a chequered past and known as a strong tagger, the outcome would have been different.
