After spending this year wearing the Tigreor's, I can confidently say I won't be looking to any other boot than Asics. I didn't experience any blistering, they wear comfortable to wear even from day one, haven't even started falling apart and bloody good to kick with. Would recommend to everyone if you want a reliable and comfy pair of boots.
My Asics started to full apart after about 5 years. Never going to wear anything else

Well I should be getting them tomorrow. We will see how they go. I do hear the new Vapors are a lot more sturdy so I hope like hell they are correct. Only time will tell I suppose.

hope the new ones are good, let me know! i got the white/blue/purple ones ronaldo wore for a while

fell to pieces with the rough surface

what really frustrates me about the football boot market is the manufacturers bring out their new range of boots for the start of the european soccer season (july august) and nothing comes out here, not even a small supply. they simply bring them out in feb/march for the various football codes in oz.

yet the afl players are given the new boots by their sponsors to wear in the second half of the season. ie paul chapman wearing the new tiempos (black with red trim and studs)

the exception to this is asics as they make and develop their boots here is oz.

anyone else notice this with other players? i only did as i know paul chapman has worn tiempos for several seasons. (ablett and n reiwoldt wear the white versions but i didnt notice much difference in those)

Can't find anywhere in Oz stocking Asics Tigreors size 13 so frustrating. Anyone have any ideas?

I don't see much afl players wear the nike superfly (the ronaldo ones), i love their colours and all the ads make it look like a superior boot. Instead, everyone chooses asics, i don't like how most of their range is black, the white ones are really nice. For adidas, not much afl players wear f50, they tend to wear predators and the heritage ones. Nike touch boots are pretty good, check out the latest one with the gold swoosh.

Shopping for new boots atm and wow talk about rave reviews about the Tigreors! Definitely saved me some time by narrowing my choices down, cheers! :thumbsu: Surely I can trust my fellow BF posters! :D
Anyone have any feedback in regards to differences between the 3IT or 4IT series? Both listed as the same price anyway so might as well go the 4IT..

Still might try between the Tigreors and Gel Lethals tho, like a previous poster I have flat feet and will try to see which is more comfy.
Any specific Gel Lethal series someone wanna recommend?

Also any Perthians know the best places to buy these boots? Theres the usual Amart and Rebel which has them for $176 (^cheaper than what jorgo21's store is selling, wanna try match their price mate? :p)
Not sure if Jim Kidd sells them? They dont have a working website atm.. :thumbsd:

Had a quick browse through eBay and didnt see too many, plus if price diff isnt that great, Id rather the security of buying new straight from shops.
Those other sites listed on this thread has the screw in versions (ST Tigreor series) much prefer the moulded.

Wasn't aware of Amart pricing.

Have adjusted the Lethal Tigreor 4 ITs to $164.99. How does that sound?

Bump....

Playing footy again after a couple of years off... monday night dusted off my old boots... puma something or others... turns out they have a big split in them meaning i will need to invest in some new ones!!

Reading here the Asics seem to be highly recommended... I am also weighing up the Adidas predators... wondering what peoples thoughts are?
Want something with good support but light and that offer good control...

Cheers for any help in advance :D

Asics are your best bet, but I have had a few mates that have had the Predators and liked them. If your foot shape allows, the Tigreor 4IT's should be cheaper as they are last seasons boots, but are very very good boots, I have a pair and will never go back to anyone else.

What a coincidence this thread has been bumped. I had to search for this thread the other day to find out what store I purchased my asics from last year. I got this pair for $62 shipping included.

Think last year I paid $86 for the Tigreors. They're still in decent nick, just felt like getting a second pair for training.

Cheers for that.... Will be doing some shopping when payday hits this week!!

My only concern is the asics can look a bit heavy, clunky and sneaker-like almost from some pics... I'm assuming that's dependent on the particular boot tho.. And probably different in person

My brother bought a pair of Tigreors the other day which are close to the lightest boots I've ever felt. Probably just as light if not lighter than my Adidas boots. Honestly thought the box was empty when I held it.

Interesting... I shall look into this then!! I think I've just been thrown by some pictures online and obviously they are different models

Tigreors are like normal footy boots, not the Lethal's, they are sneaker like. As blues4flag said, they are also very light.
